The Kentucky State Police and the Hart County Coroner are on scene at this time investigating what is believed to be a double suicide. Two bodies were found at a property located at 3000 Priceville Road in Bonnieville, Kentucky.
Friends have confirmed the identities of the individuals however the names are being withheld until attempts have been made to reach the next of kin.
Officials state that no press release will be issued as there is no indication of foul play. According to an officer at the scene, the scenario is quite clear.
One end of a garden hose was duct taped to the exhaust pipe of a late model green minivan and the other end was taped to the passenger side window of the vehicle. The doors were unlocked with the ignition key still in the on position.
Kentucky State Police Trooper B.J. Eaton confirmed they received a call at 9:49 a.m. requesting a welfare check at the address.
The bodies were found because of the call.
KSP Troopers were onsite and secured the scene an estimated hour before detectives arrived at 11:15 a.m. Crime scene investigators and a higher ranking officer arrived at 11:20 a.m. The Hart County Coroner arrived at 12:30 p.m.
No motive for the suicides have been determined at this time. Detective Chad Winn is on scene investigating at this time.
